02Engineering
Six capabilities carry our sites, our automations and our products. Each one links to something you can look at.
01Capability
We build complete products, not prototypes. A web application and dashboard in Next.js and TypeScript, PostgreSQL behind it, billing, sign-in and bot protection wired in. The people who write a feature also run it in production, so it gets built to be run.
02Capability
We separate the paths that must never fail from the work that can wait. At QR Rapid the scan redirect is its own Deno service, heavy jobs run on Redis-backed queues, and assets are served from object storage. Operations are part of the build: database dumps every six hours, encrypted off-site snapshots, weekly restore tests, independent uptime monitoring, deploys from CI and a monitor for billing anomalies.
03Capability
We design the interface and the product behind it together. QR Rapid turns eighteen content types into one creation flow with a live preview, and exports brand-level designs as print-ready files. BandPeek puts live network speeds in a menu bar without letting the numbers jitter.
04Capability
We add AI where it shortens a real task, and keep a person in the loop where it matters. Rapid AI inside QR Rapid proposes a change, asks for confirmation, then validates it before anything is applied. The n8n content pipeline we built for the QR Rapid blog keeps generation and review apart and holds publishing for human approval. Stripe webhooks, Notion, Buffer and S3 are wired in around them.
05Capability
Some products belong outside a browser tab. QR Rapid for Chrome is a Manifest V3 extension that makes codes from any page, link or selection. BandPeek is a macOS menu-bar app built with Rust and Tauri that reads per-app network counters, stores history locally and publishes what it can and cannot measure.
06Capability
Being found is an engineering problem. We build and run our own portfolio of comparison sites across international markets: site platform, content, SEO, offer data and partner reporting, end to end. Operating since 2023. QR Rapid applies the same discipline to a product, with a large, structured site of pages for each QR type and each use case.
03Working together
Managed automation for clients is new. We have not yet published a paid client project, so the work we can show is the work we do for ourselves, and the case studies say so.
